Getting down to Great Northern

Great Northern is situated on the corner of Peter Street and Deansgate, next to the famous GMEX Arena and Manchester International Convention Centre (MICC).

By Car/Coach

Great Northern is easily accessed by car with secure and covered on-site parking for over 1,200 cars offering 24 hour parking.

By Bus

Great Northern is well served by local bus routes along Deansgate and John Dalton Street, including the Centreline free bus service.

Centreline operates a free bus service from Manchester Piccadilly Station to various key attractions within the city centre. The service departs from Manchester Piccadilly every ten minutes and operates 7 days a week.

The metrolink free bus service will take you around the city and to the doors of the great northern. This is a free and easy way to make your way around Manchester. You need to get the No.3 (Orange) or No2 (Green). This can be accessed from Manchester Piccadilly and various stops throughout the city for customers of the Great Northern.

By Train

You can travel to Great Northern by train. Deansgate Train station, which is located just 300 metres away, provides a direct route to Great Northern. Other nearby stations include Victoria, Salford Junction and Oxford Street

Railtrack PLC operates Manchester's national train station Manchester Piccadilly, with train services provided by First North Western, Virgin Trains, Wales & Borders Trains, Wessex Trains, Northern Spirit Ltd and Central Trains Ltd.

Great Northern is just a short taxi ride away, or visitors can take advantage of the Centreline free bus service.
