Launching as part of Manchester Flower Festival, Great Northern’s new family-friendly trail, Creatures of Cottonopolis, invites visitors to explore the astonishingly diverse array of urban nature throughout the area.
Kids and parents alike can grab a trail sheet from Alex’s Bakery, The Book Nook or Little Northerners and head off in search of a variety of plants, flowers and wildlife, with tons to discover and scavenger challenges aplenty, as well as a section dedicated to spotting Great Northern’s edible flowers and fruits, including marigolds, raspberries and chocolate mint.
