IYE Music Presents Matilda Shakes

In Your Ears Music are back at The Lions Den, Manchester!! Come down and see the brilliant Matilda Shakes as they arrive in Manchester on their tour!

Matilda Shakes are an anthemic indie rock band based in Sheffield, UK. The band utilise punchy driven guitars, raucous riffs, pounding drums and huge singalong choruses to get adrenaline pumping and crowds bouncing.

The band have played sold out shows in their hometown and beyond including main stage slots at Sheffield’s historic venue The Leadmill and o2 Academy. 

Latest high-octane release “Fast lane” – featured on the official F1 Tracks: Best of British playlist and Sheffield United’s match day playlist.

They are joined by 3 bands that are brilliant too!

Casinos 
Casinos are an upcoming Indie Pop trio from Manchester. Establishing themselves as a must listen band for fans of The Killers and The 1975. Released on December 8th, Casinos second single ‘Fashion Girls’ was hailed “a tremendous piece of work” by Charlie Ashcroft. It also went on to feature within This Feelings ‘Best New Bands’ playlist on Spotify. Lyrically their latest release explores frontman Matthew’s greatest insecurities, contextualised by a series of dates with a girl working within the fashion industry.

Idle Noise

Idle Noise are an indie rock quartet from Coventry. The band take influence from a range of artists including The StrokesThe Vaccines and The Enemy. With infectious hooks, stomping choruses and huge stage presence, their performances capture the audience of every show they play.

The last few years have seen them play alongside the likes of InhalerThe Charlatans & The Wombats, and be part of many impressive shows across the UK, including supporting Coventry’s own Tom Clarke (The Enemy) at a sold out hometown show, playing their own sold out headline shows at Manchester’s iconic Deaf Institute & Coventry’s HMV Empire, as well as being selected as main support to indie legends The Libertines at Godiva Festival; a career defining moment for the midlands four.

The Social Club

The Social Club are an exciting new, britpop-inspired, band who have made a huge impact onto the Manchester scene.

Formed in late 2022, Dec O’Brien (Singer & Rhythm Guitarist), Bradley Cork (Lead Guitarist), Harri Corbin (Bassist) and George Butler (Drummer), have taken all of their combined inspirations and compiled them, which has formed The Social Club’s sound
