We are really looking forward to opening more doors at Great Northern, and seeing more of our brands getting back to what they do best. Everyone on site has been working super hard to set things up to keep all our staff and customers safe, but please remember to be patient and kind when you visit as we all get used to our new normal.
Here is a guide to who will be open and what to expect – please be sure to check individual venue’s websites before you visit to get most up to date information and amended opening times:
The mighty Famous will open at 12 noon on Saturday 4th July – it’s pre-booked tables only, and contactless payments. They will also be running a reduced menu to start with, but don’t worry it still contains their best sellers! You can book here
All Star Lanes
Unfortunately Boris says bowling is still a no-go, but All Star Lanes will be opening up their bar and restaurant on Saturday 4th July – expect contactless ordering and cashless payments and more space between customers. You can book here
Impossible will be opening up their bar and terrace at 12 noon on 4th July (Impossible Theatre will be closed until restrictions for nightclubs are reviewed). It’s pre booked tables only, with deposits being taken. You can book here
Manchester235 Casino and James Martin Manchester
Regulations state that casinos can not open yet, so you will need to wait a while longer for these Manchester favourites to start rolling again. Rest assured though, the team are working hard behind the scenes to get everything safe and ready to go.
Evuna will open back fully on 10th July, and you can also enjoy their ‘Evuna At Home’ Dine Out menu from 3rd July – carefully crafted meals and accompanying wine to enjoy a dining experience at home, providing the perfect alternative to that holiday in Spain. For more info click here
Odeon Manchester remains closed, with re-opening date still to be confirmed.
The Lions Den will reopen its doors and serve it’s first much-needed pint on Saturday 4th July at 12 noon. Live music is still off limits until Boris gives the go ahead, but their bar is all set up with social distancing using their outdoor and upstairs space, contactless payments and ordering with their usual big smiles. For more info click here
Platzki are not opening their doors fully just yet, as space in the restaurant is very small. Never fear though, you can still get your Platzki fix for collection by ordering here (and Lions Den are happy for you to eat Platzki food while drinking at Lions Den), or you can also order Pierogi via Deliveroo here
Siam Smiles will continues to offer a takeaway service for the time being, (again customers of Lions Den are welcome to order and eat Sim Smiles food while at Lions Den). You can order from Siam Smiles here
Holy Grain sourdough bakers are continuing to take pre orders for collection and delivery on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Email email@example.com
This haven of sweet stuff and caffeine is open 11am – 5pm Wednesday to Saturday on our Deansgate Mews. You can also order online at www.alexsbakery.co.uk
The Dormouse team are back busy crafting that chocolate of theirs. It’s mainly online orders at the moment here but they are trialling opening the shop from 11am – 4pm this Saturday, 4th July so why not drop by.
Whistlepunks will be re-opening their doors on 26 August and you can make your booking here
Life Centre North
We’re sad to say it’s still live streamed yoga only from The Life Centre North while they wait for restrictions to be lifted. Check out how you can access their streamed classes here
The Gym Group
Disappointingly, there’s still no lifting going on at Great Northern, as gyms remain closed under current restrictions. Keep an eye on their website for the latest updates here
NCP Car Park
The NCP car park is open as usual, with the second carpark in the Warehouse building due to also reopen on 16th July.
Finally, don’t forget that our Estate Agents and shops on our Deansgate Terrace are now open, check their websites for full details of opening times and safety measures in place.
