This month, art-lovers are invited to stop by 293 Deansgate to enjoy a brand new exhibition from renowned local artist Sophie Nixon, as well as free sketch sessions and networking opportunities with other creators.
Open to the public every Thursday to Saturday from 10.30am-7pm between 29th November and 20th December, the winter pop-up features a stunning collection of sketches and paintings by Manchester-based Nixon, alongside a group show by fellow local artists Nicola Briggs, Jo Manby, Emma Jackson, Sandra Robinson, Janet Howkins and others.
Throughout the month, Sophie will also use the space as an open sketch studio, with guest artists invited to create work and forge connections with others, and showcases of their art will be on display on select days.
On Saturday 14th December from 10am-2pm, the Manchester Urban Sketchers will join Sophie for a free session. All are welcome – just bring your sketchbook and preferred art medium.
There will also be Christmas commissions available throughout the pop-up.
