The Impossible Alpine Village Arrives at Great Northern

Forget the slopes! This winter there’s no need to leave the city, the Impossible Alpine Village is set to bring all the fun of festive après-ski to the centre of Manchester.

Open from Thursday 22nd November until the New Year, the Impossible Alpine Village is an all-new winter destination for all ages located outdoors in the Great Northern Amphitheatre, behind the Peter Street based Impossible bar & theatre.

Open daily from noon entry is FREE and visitors can enjoy all manner of seasonal experiences.   A giant, luxury tipi and bar, decorated with thousands of shimmering lights and vintage ski memorabilia will transport guests off-piste, providing the perfect winter setting for an unforgettable festive celebration with friends, families or the even the office party, whatever the time of day. An Instagram photo wall and alpine photo booth with giant themed props will help capture the moment.

Mini chalets will provide free scheduled activities and a play area for younger guests ( from 12th December) , free Forest Tots session for Under 5s each Wednesday morning (click here for info) and a makers’ market from Thursday to Sunday each week will offer original gift ideas from local craft & artisan suppliers.

 

The Impossible Alpine Village is open Monday to Friday from 12 noon until late (on Wednesdays open from 10am) and Saturday and Sundays from 11am until 11pm
