Featuring swaying palm trees, colourful aesthetics, free-flowing cocktails and even undercover heating, everybody’s favourite Caribbean coconut drinks brand is bringing its pop-up beach lounge back to Great Northern Square this May, with a host of live DJs, frozen tipples, summer spirits and a massive Malibu rum-inspired shot menu.
Created in collaboration with the team at Pong & Puck, Malibu Beach Club celebrates the summer mindset and invites guests to ‘do whatever tastes good’, with a vibrant and exclusive cocktail list featuring some of their most popular flavours, including the Malibu White Rum Original Coconut and newest-edition Malibu White Rum with Strawberry Flavour. There’s also a tantalising pizza selection to enjoy, with an array of options all made fresh in the old-school pizza van parked on the terrace.
As party-oriented as it is realistic, the terrace also features an undercover heated area to keep the exotic excitement alive in spite of any typical Manchester weather.
Those wanting to make the most of the sunny season can enjoy outdoor bottomless brunch on Saturdays and Sundays for £35. And, there’s a happy hour Sunday-Friday 5pm-7pm with 2-4-1 on selected cocktails, £4 for house beer and £20 for bottles of prosecco.
Each weekend there’ll be DJs spinning classic Ibiza floor-fillers mixed with funk and house tunes straight from a sunset beach party.
